Biography

Hito Steyerl (b. 1966 in Munich) is filmmaker and writer, based in Berlin. Steyerl started out as an essay filmmaker and successively moved into the art field. She works as a professor for New Media in the Fine Arts Department of the University of Arts Berlin.
